With releases on Stacey Pullen’s Black Flag label, several on Tronic, and more recently on Laurent Garnier’s Cod3 QR imprint Diego never stops experimenting and developing his sound. We felt was time for Diego Infanzon to showcase his broad talents in an album. “Go Back To The Basics“ encompasses everything from house to electro and techno. Founded in 1994 by Christian Smith, the label now has over 430 releases. Christian & his team have paved the way for many artists including ANNA, Dosem, Wehbba, Drunken Kong. Tronic’s main philosophy is simple: nonpurist, honest, house & techno. Supported by the top players in the industry the label has released countless of artist albums. Some outstanding releases have been Christian Smith’s remixes of Carl Craig’s seminal ’At Les“ song, which has become one of the biggest vinyl sales releases of the past decade. Other notable releases & remixes came from Laurent Garnier, & Underworld. The weekly Tronic Radio show is being syndicated on over 120 stations worldwide & has had over 500 shows. With regards to events, Tronic has had a successful 15-week season in Ibiza at the 3000-capacity Eden super club, while also hosting arenas at established festivals, & doing over 100 club events worldwide.
