“Voters Are SICK AND TIRED Of Open Border Policies”
Recently, elections were held across Europe, and the results show changes in support for different political parties.
Far-right and nationalist parties gained support, but centre-right parties also did well and remain the largest group.
The European People’s Party (EPP), a centre-right group, won the most seats in the European Parliament elections and are expected to have around 184 of the 720 seats, which is about a quarter of the total.
Far-right parties made significant progress in the elections. In France, the National Rally secured nearly a third of the votes, becoming the leading far-right group.
In Italy, Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni’s Brothers of Italy party gained more than a quarter of the votes.
The European Conservatives and Reformists (ECR) and Identity and Democracy (ID) groups will hold 131 seats. Additional far-right seats include 15 from Germany’s AfD, 10 from Hungary’s Fidesz, 6 from Poland’s Confederation, and 3 from Bulgaria’s Revival party.
