Fodens Motorworks Band (1938)

No titles. A man sitting beside a gramophone player and holding a cigarette introduces Fodens Motorworks Brass Band, led by Fred Mortimer. He puts a record on the machine and we see M/S of the band come out of the spinning record by a trick of the camera (introduction is probably from a later compilation of Pathetones). London, probably Pathe Studio. Several shots of the brass band playing, intercut with scenes of men riding horses over snowy countryside. Titles over M/S of the band read “Cossack March - Stirring Melody With All —--— Of Russia“ (timecode obscures titles on vhs copy). Other shots show Asian people in a village and riding on horseback.
