GIGANTIC RC Jet !!! ✈️ L-39 Albatross XXXL - Tomahawk Design 1/

Watch this humongous RC jet take flight at the ’Osca Jets 2023’ international jet meeting, flown by pilots Jean-Michel Bénard and Franck Corbet... You don’t get to see a model aircraft THIS big every other day, wow!! This jet has a length of 4,50 m while measuring 3,50 m in wingspan and weighing roughly 70kg... what an absolute monster!! Jean-Michel Bénard and Franck Corbet take turns to fly this giant scale model aircraft replica of the Dash AeroSports L-39 jet produced by Tomahawk Design in 1/ scale. The jet is powered by a JetCat P550 turbine engine, delivering a massive 550N of thrust at full power... YIKES! The airplane is painted in the vivid livery of Dash AeroSports, an aerobatic racing team from the United States, headed by Scott Farnsworth, whose branded advertising style wraps across their entire fleet of vehicles. The flight was performed at the Barcelona - Osca Jets 2023 international jet meeting, which took place in the facilities of ’Club Aeromodelismo Osca’, located in Igriés (Huesca, Spain) the last weekend of september. The field at which the event was hosted has a really outstanding mountain backdrop which made it possible to film truly breathtaking shots of the jets zooming by as if it was a movie scene straight out of Top Gun! (minus the snow) Osca Jets is the latest installment of a series of events following on the legacy of the Barcelona Jets and Cerdanya Jets event, gathering over 80 pilots from all over Europe, and about twice that number of jet aircraft. Just like in all the previous occasions, the organization made an astounding work and the event was a total success!
