Blaupunk Derby Deluxe portable/auto transistor radio (made in Germany circa 1963)

Its been a while since I uploaded a video of a German radio, so here is a fairly early example of the Blaupunk Derby Deluxe, which was built around 1963 as far as I can tell. Blaupunk sold radios marked as “Derby Deluxe“ into at least the early 1970s and later examples had more bands than this one, but I think this is one of the nicest looking versions (maybe I’m biased). This example is currently electrically original, but you can tell it could use some new capacitors in the audio circuitry at least.
