Tinnitus Cutter 1000 Hz Noise Masking May Provide Ringing Releif

Welcome to the Tinnitus Cutter, a 1000 Hz (1 kHz) narrow boost of noise by request to potentially reduce tinnitus ringing for listeners with a frequency in their mind close to this frequency. Remember, tinnitus is a symptom of other issues and some types are reduced to a degree when listening to noise. What works in certain cases will not in others. It is worth a try and is one of many masking noise frequencies I have designed for you on this channel. Here is a sampler of more frequencies: How does it work: Tinnitus is often a miswiring on the quarter million neuropathways between the ears and the mind. The listener hears a ringing, tone, noise or chirping type sounds because the mind plays back a sort of auto-complete which is a byproduct of it’s efficiency to streamline incoming stimulus from the senses. Another example of the mind streamlining stimulus would be how peripheral vision or other things not in our direct line of sight are out of focus. It would be to much to look at all at once. Back to the sound, by introducing a new and slightly different sound that is relatively close to the frequency, the mind will notice nd focus on this new sound and let go of the tinnitus sound that is stuck in the mind to a certain degree (30% lower is typical, though some report much lower volume). To take it one step further, this lowering of the sound is often accompanied by positive feelings that tinnitus can be managed offering hope that the sound can be managed as we carry on with life. Tinnitus noise masking one of three aspects in contemporary treatment. The other two are health and wellness and the third is cognitive behavioral techniques. As a career audio engineer and person with tinnitus, I contribute noise to this tinnitus cause as it is my field of expertise. I don’t have the medical answers. The other two aspects should be assessed and treated with the expertise of a medical professional; and audiologist or ENT doctor. Dr Ben Thompson from Treble Health is a audiologist with a YouTube channel and practice that is a great place to learn more. The creation process: I create these sounds from scratch at my recording studio using a digital audio workstation to make the sounds and also record sounds in the field. The backgrounds are also my creations as visuals to add interest and these dim at 90 minutes on most videos. I also come up with these crafty names so we can remember the frequencies and videos in a fun manner and reference them in the comments. I am noticing more channels using my titling, like the Tinnitus Zapper, the Tinnitus Zinger and many others. Consider whether these creators are truly invested with the same passion I have for helping the tinnitus world or just riding coat tails for views. You will always find sonic innovation, ingenuity, experimentation and a lot of community engagement from me in the comments.
