“Instrumental Room“ is the title of the instrumental version of Paul Lekakis’ dance hit, “Boom Boom (Let’s Go Back To My Room)“. The song was recorded in 1986 but didn’t make the charts until a year later. This comes from the original vinyl 45 single. The original version of the song was the only US charted single for Lekakis, peaking at #48 on the Cash Box Top 100, #6 on the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart, and missed the Top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100, making it to #43. The original version hit #1 in both South Africa and Australia, #4 in Canada, #7 in New Zealand, and #60 in the UK. In 2007, it was re-released as the “20th Anniversary Remix“ with vocals re-done by Lekakis.
