No backpacks, coolers, or alcohol will be allowed. A Homeland Security threat assessment describes Times Square as “an attractive target.“ Homeland Security says “lone offenders pose the most likely threat to Americans.“ Authorities are hoping all the revelers are safe and the celebrations peaceful.
