“Forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet“ - Khalil Gibran I told the kids this but they were not impressed, except for the one who has always taken his shoes off, ever since he could. So he bared his feet to walk this Barefoot Park in Langeweise. I’ve never come across one of these before but apparently they are a thing across Europe, more than 100, mostly in Austria and Germany. We stumbled across this one on a trip to Winterberg, for one of our #castlehostels days out from Jugendherberge Burg Bilstein. Do you like to walk barefoot? Or are you a shoes on person?
