Sval&Bard - Don’t leave the settlements without a suitable gun

This rule is a very particular one and it needs some explanation: Svalbard’s Polar bears are protected and it is absolutely forbidden to kill them. If accidentally you meet one, there is a procedure to be followed, in order to scare it and avoid any possibility of conflict. If the bear is aggressive and tries to attack or kill you, it is allowed to shoot it for self defens. For this reason, in order to keep you safe, it’s better to bring a weapon with you and hope you don’t need to use it. This is an animated stop-motion series produced by Kairos Studio.
