Capitulation Part 3 - Model Diorama

Hi & welcome to the third & final part of my project - “Capitulation” This diorama is based on a German town in eastern Germany during the final few weeks of WW2, and the German surrender to overwhelming numbers of Soviet forces. The idea for this came about after seeing the release of figure set from ‘Stalingrad Miniatures called ‘I’ll question him’. I decided to exclusively use other figures from ‘Stalingrad’ to complete the scene, along with 2 laser cut wooden building kits I had from ‘Gero Design’. Accessories come from Miniart, Tamiya & Royal Models to all help add more details. In this video I’ll be painting & weathering the second building on the model, based on a Radio selling shop in the 1940’s. The 4 Soviet figures from ‘Stalingrad Miniatures’ are being painted, putting together the defensive position making sandbags & repainting an old Tamiya 37mm flak gun. Finally painting additional details such as pigeons & street signs, both from ‘Miniart Models’. The 2 buildings were built in previous videos on the channel & here’s links to how those went together:- Gero Design Retail Store:- Gero Design Butchers:- Super-Glue Man Products - Stalingrad Figures - Hope you enjoy this final video in the series, any comments, suggestions or critiques always more than welcome.
