We found an older couple who breeds dachshunds every now and then and made the decision to get Pepper. I work from home so she spends most of her time with me. When she was a puppy, I don’t think she slept anywhere else other than on top of me, so clearly, we are close. I had seen others try this challenge where they kiss or pet their dog and then stop to see how their dog would react.
