Lindisfarne Boardgame Piece

This bright blue glass boardgame piece was found on Lindisfarne in 2019 during a community-led archaeological dig, organised by DigVentures and Durham University. It is likely to be the King from a set used for playing a version of ‘tafl’ - a family of games played in Britain, Ireland, Iceland, Denmark and Sweden. Get Involved! Learn more here:
