#JowarKhajoorKaHalwa is a famous dessert. This easy recipe is for all the dessert lovers out there. It is a combination of jowar [pearl millets], dates, almonds, cardamom, and is topped with chopped pistachios. It has a rich and delicious flavour. Ingredients Quantity For Jaggery Syrup: - Water 250 ml Jaggery chopped 1 cup Cardamom powder 1 tbsp Dates chopped 10-12 no’s For Halwa: - Ghee 4 tbsp Jowar flour [Pearl Millet Flour] 1 ½ cup Almonds chopped 1 tbsp Raisins 1 tbsp Khoya [Optional] 1 cup Dates slices for garnish Pistachios chopped for garnish. Method: - 1. For jaggery syrup – Take borosil SS sauce pan then add water, jaggery, cardamon powder and dates chopped. 2. Cook until jaggery melts. 3. For Halwa - Take a bororsil kadai heat ghee, add jowar flour and roast it on a medium flame. 4. Then add chopped almonds, raisins and roast for few seconds. 5. Add the jaggery syrup mix well and cook until there are no lumps, then switch off the flame, add khoya and cook until its melt. 6. Remove in a borosil serving bowl. 7. Garnish with dates slices and chopped pistachios. 8. Serve Immediately.
