Silverwing S1 Hover Testing

The TU Delft student engineering team Silverwing revealed its full-scale S1 eVTOL on Dec. 12. Here’s footage of the aircraft performing initial, tethered hover flights. The aircraft has been designed to compete in the GoFly Prize final fly-off, scheduled for Feb. 27-29 at NASA’s Ames Research Center in Mountain View, California.
