Kovu was surprised to see Nala. Simba had warned Kovu to stay away from his daughter and leave. Kiara had tried to convince her father that Kovu had saved her from drowning in the water. At first Simba was a bit suspicious as to why he had saved her. After that, Simba, Nala and Kiara leave. Nala had looked back and said “it was nice to see you again Kovu“. She smiled and walked away with her family. Later, Kiara had gotten in trouble for being in the outlands. Simba had told her that you can’t trust outsiders. Kiara though didn’t listen. Nala had tried to make her calm down but Kiara didn’t understand why she couldn’t spend time with Kovu, so she ran. In the outlands Kovu was a bit depressed. Thinking of Nala. Later, Kiara was once again exploring and saw Kovu upset. She had asked him what was wrong. So... Kovu had told her the whole story of him and Nala being together. At first Kiara was a little shocked. She felt bad for Kovu so she said “don’t worry everything will be okay“ and then she left back to the pridelands. As Kovu started went back to his him he started hallucinating and seeing Nala. He then started to miss her and began feeling depressed. After that, Kiara went home thinking about all that Kovu had told her about their relationship.
