Plane Tales (1930)

A Bleriot novelty from France. L/S of a small aircraft on the ground. M/S of a man in flying leathers standing next to the plane pointing out various features. The novel feature of this aeroplane is that the undercarriage folds up when the plane is in the air. Low angle shot of the plane in flight as the undercarriage is folded up. Intertitle jokes that it would be awkward if the pilot forgot to let his wheels down when landing. A new three engined light plane is featured next. Low angle shot of the stationary plane. M/S of front of the plane to show the three engines. C/U of pilot and co-pilot in the cockpit. C/U of one of the engines. The smallest multi engined aircraft in the world is shown. The plane taxis away from the camera and takes off. Was an item in Pathe Pictorial issue number 662. Note: it is possibly Louis Bleriot who stands beside the plane.
