USAID Launches 2023 LGBTQI+ Inclusive Development Policy

USAID’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Intersex (LGBTQI ) Inclusive Development Policy reiterates, guides, and reinforces USAID’s commitment to championing LGBTQI inclusive development and the human rights of LGBTQI people. Through the LGBTQI Policy, USAID reaffirms that LGBTQI Inclusive Development is fundamental for the realization of human rights, essential to the protection of human dignity, and key to effective and sustainable development outcomes.
