A Boss® Space Echo pedal set for a quick slapback is plugged into the Hot Rod Deluxe III amp’s pedal-friendly effects loop for cleaner performance. There’s also a touch of the amp’s spring reverb, and the optional 112 extension cabinet adds some room-filling bass to the tone. At the 20-second mark, the footswitch engages the Drive channel, which adds grit while maintaining the Tele twang.
