This plein air trip I’ll be up in the Northern Flinders Ranges, capturing with oil paint, the beautiful morning and evening light that the area is so renowned for. The colours and tonal values - combined with amazing atmosphere - have to be seen to be believed! Whilst up there, I will be solo camping under the stars in my swag (bed-roll) and whipping up whole food plant based cooking recipes on the camp fire. The meals will be prepared in cast iron camp ovens (Dutch ovens) over the open fire, In a simple living and primitive way.
