For this, I decided to put the three times winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans André Lotterer behind the wheel of the 997 GT3 RS 4.0, considered by many as one of the best cars of all time.
With only 600 units produced, its colossal rear wing and its flics, it clearly looks like a race car. Or maybe it is. Or at least a street-legal race car.
Forged pistons, titanium connecting rods, crankshaft borrowed from the 911 GT3 RSR, 6-speed gearbox, it is the first 911 to benefit from a 4-liter Mezger engine. The six-cylinder naturally aspirated flat engine develops 500 hp at 8,250 rpm and a maximum torque of 460 Nm at 5,750 rpm. Thanks to carbon fiber-backed bucket seats, a carbon fiber front hood and front fenders, as well as polycarbonate side and rear windows, the 911 GT3 RS 4.0 weighs on
