Hi Fu Mi

This piece, Hi Fu Mi, is a fine gateway to begin blowing Zen. The notation I’m using is included in my book “Blowing Zen“. The book includes detailed instructions for playing it as well. Being short and straightforward, it is the first blowing Zen piece I suggest one learn. At least, that’s what worked for me when I started. Speaking of me, I’ve been tooting away at Hi Fu Mi for 40 years now and each time is always beginning anew. Of course, that can apply to all Hon Kyoku... and life overall. Always a be
