Hoagy Carmichael

A 20 minute summary of the career of Hoagy Carmichael (1899-1981) prepared for the Epsom & Ewell U3A Classic Jazz Group. Hoagy was around right from the beginnings of white jazz and was a great friend and supporter of Bix, He wrote many numbers which have become jazz standards, including Stardust, which many musicians say was the best jazz composition ever written.
