Also “Ask The Host“ is replacing “Ask A Friend“ in this episode Owner: 2waytraffic - A Sony Pictures Entertainment Company / Sony Pictures Television Producer: (proudly Australian) Nine Network Production Channel: 9 / 9Now Host: Eddie McQuire Language: English Country: Australia Season: 2023 Date: 17th April, 2023 Millionaire Hot Seat is a little different compared to the classic “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?“ as the show constis of 2 parts: “Fastest-Finger-First“ and “The Main Game“. In Fastest-Finger-First, all 6 contestants play a total of Questions in the original FFF style of 1998: Pick the correct answer (not order) in the fastest time! At the end of 15 questions, the player who has given the most correct answers in the fastest time wins a $1,000 cheque. However it can be traded in the main game to use one of 3 lifelines: 50:50, Ask A Friend or Switch The Question! In some specials the second lifeline is replaced with “Ask The Host“. In the main game people play sequentially one after another from contestant to 1-6. Every one of them has a PASS Lifeline available which means they can get out of the chair and go to the end of the sequence and the next player must answer their question. He however is not allowed to pass it. The goal is to keep as many players in as possible. Every time a player answers incorrectly, he will leave empty handed and the top-prize drops down by one question from Q15 to Q14 to Q13 as low as Q10. Also whenever somebody drops out, a new question of the same difficulty will get asked. (If you drop out on Q9, the next player will also get a Q9). The contestant who gets to play the final question OR is the final one remaining gets the the safetynet of Q5 which is a $1,000 no matter what happens. Also: Walking Away is not an option! Its always Play and Win or Lose. (Q15) $1,000,000 (Q14) $250,000 (Q13) $100,000 (Q12) $50,000 (Q11) $20,000 (Q10) $10,000 .... (Q5) $1,000 (Threshold)
