They will discover how Gilles de Rais fell into the abysses of dark magic, demonology and madness and they will end his malevolent actions. Musically, it comes with the beautiful bass voice of Axel de Montalembert, heavy riffing, epic guitar solos, thundering bass, hard hitting drums and grand orchestrations as usual, but also more vocal interventions of the other knights of Heliopolis and the use of true masterpieces of classical music adapted to symphonic metal. Throughout the EP you will hear heavy versions of “A Night on the Bald Mountain“ by Moussorgski, the “Dies Irae“ by Mozart or even some moments inspired by some of the most beautiful pages by Bellini, Donizetti and Verdi.
