ORIGAMI TRIAKIS OCTAHEDRON (Jo Nakashima)

How to make an origami Triakis Octahedron (8 pointed star) Designed by Jo Nakashima (05/2021) Support my channel! In geometry, a triakis octahedron (or trigonal trisoctahedron or kisoctahedron) is an Archimedean dual solid, or a Catalan solid. It can be seen as an octahedron with triangular pyramids added to each face. This is a modular origami and the units are the same used on my Excavated Dodecahedron. The 12 units are well connected without glue. You can make it with or without the color changed edges on the base of the pyramids, depending on which side of the unit you use. You can use the same unit to build other figures like the Triakis Tetrahedron, Triakis Icosahedron, Tetrakis Hexahedron and Pentakis Dodecahedron. #Origami #TriakisOctahedron ► DIFFICULTY LEVEL: simple ► MY PAPER: x copper tissue-foil (12 sheets) Copper tissue-foil: Gold tissue-foil: https://ww
