THE MIHARA SCHOOL - A Japanese sword owned by John Yumoto, author of The Samurai Sword.

This is an example of a Japanese sword from the Mihara school of Bingo Province. It is a sword dating to the early Muromachi period and has important provenance, having been owned by Masayuki ’John Yumoto the author of The Samurai Sword.
