After returning, my sister washed and seasoned the chickens and let them rest. My mother put the Medlars on the stove to cook, making a colorful and fragrant Medlar paste. My aunt fried the chickens with olive oil on a tree stump and spread the resulting sauce on the chickens. We ate this traditional and delicious food with pleasure and enjoyed each other.
