European honey buzzard / Обыкновенный осоед / Pernis apivorus

Male Honey Buzzard Pernis apivorus consuming larvae of Vespula vulgaris queens. This bird has bred succesfully in the south of the Netherlands and is preparing to migrate to his winter quarters.
