Today I’m taking a look at a big cEDH tournament you probably haven’t heard of. God of Commander 7 was a 112-player tournament that took place in Japan, and I’ll be breaking down the top 12 decks at that event. Japan has a VERY different looking meta than what you might be used to, so even popular Commanders can have some radical cards you won’t expect. Cards like Darkblast, Up the Beanstalk, Jaya Ballard Task Mage, and Active Volcano all show up at this large tournament. And the Commander’s running these wild cards are Tivit, Korvold, Inalla, Kinnan, Teshar, Rograkh/Tevesh, Edric, Malcolm/Vialsmasher, Derevi, and Tymna/Kraum.
