After getting signed to Purge/Sound League and working with a rotating cast of musicians for the recording of 1-800-Godhouse (1988, LP), bass duties were entrusted to John Nowlin. It took four different drummers to complete the recording of the follow-up The Easy Listening Record (1989, LP) with Rock Savage eventually settling in to complete the trio. They would go on to release Vegas Throat (1991, LP), Gimmick (1993, LP), Lardroom (1994, EP), Peacekeeper (1995, EP), and L. Ron (1996, LP) before quietly disbanding in 1998.
