Wasis Diop (feat. Aktivist Group) - Le lion est mort place aux hyènes

The first song my professor (shout out to ma Madame!) played in my first undergraduate French class was “Samba le berger“ from this album (Toxu). I fell in love with Wasis Diop INSTANTLY. There is someone else here on youtube who has posted many of the songs from Toxu, and there is not a bad (or even just “all right“) song on the album. (When I listen to it I usually have to play it through at least twice, more if there’s time.) But I especially like this song because of the hip-hop collaboration with Aktivist Group. (I heart French hip-hop, madly.)
