Linocut Print of a Landscape Including the St. Louis Skyline | Printmaking

Video showing the process of designing, cutting and printing an imaginary landscape with the skyline of St. Louis on the horizon. There is good shots showing closeups of the cutting of the lino plate, and good video showing the plate being inked up and run through an etching press to print a proof. Print and video by Michael Halbert: Note 1: I try to show my work process as accurately as possible. However, I do take some liberties with the editing of the videos. For instance, almost all my videos use time lapse to speed up the process. I would like to show the entire process in real time, but even my simplest projects can take a full day--major projects can take one to two weeks, or more.
