That’s right for many years now I have been hunting down every single one sixth (1:6) scale Hot Toys Alien figure, to present an informative expose on the famous toy companies’ jump into the world of the XENOMORPH. One of the most feared, beloved and sought-after movie monsters in entertainment history, for more than a decade Hot Toy has been producing merchandise from the Alien (and Predator) film franchise. Some of the figures have been among the best the industry has ever produced, and others have been wildly disappointing or mired down in quality control issues. And here in this episode I’m bringing together mint condition copies of all 11 Aliens, from Alien, Aliens Alien 3, Alien resurrection, Alien vs. Predator (AVP) and Alien vs. Predator Requiem (AVPR) as well as Hot Toys super deformed figure and big chap bust. Many of these figures have seldom been seen unboxed in 4K, and fewer still have all been compiled in one place, such as the three Alien warriors from James Cameron’s Aliens, Ridley Scott’s Big Chap, the Dog/Runner Alien from David Fincher’s alien three, the hybrid alien from John Pierre Jeunet’s Alien Resurrection.
