Lišaj - Szara EP limited tape release is now available on: Genot FB: Video by Šimon Levitner: “I attempted to dig a tunnel between the noise and my voice.” Lišaj, a rising star of the Czech experimental music scene, introduces his ethereal, heavy take on rap music with his debut EP, Szara. On the tape, the Les member presents a selection of dazed hip hop incantations, incorporating field recordings made in the Hel peninsula (2014-2015). With creeping, slow beats, his vocal utterances and reverberating muffled verses drift smoothly under a highly dynamic sidechained mass of static, reverb, and thick, piled up mountains of sound.
