Cemetery Strolls, Episode 35: St Edmund’s Church, Wootton, isle of Wight. Out in the sticks driving up a sodden dirt track, i came across this tiny piece of Island history. A 11th century church, set in a peaceful walled graveyard. While walking around, i came across some lovely little secret’s or bits of nature. There are two graveyards, with a war Memorial for the fallen Hero’s of the village of Wootton. It’s been great getting back out again discovering the not so famous, but just as important.
