Unveiling Utahs Ancient Secrets - Enigmatic Rock Art In The Desert

There had to be more rock art I didn’t see! After a previous trip to this area I began to think about it and wondered if I had missed anything. I had only explored certain parts of this area on the first visit. It was only fitting to return and examine a different section. And as I’ve explained in most of my videos, it is an absolute time suck carefully scouring sections of land for rock art. The art can be faded and in obscure places and can be easily missed. So there, I convinced myself to return and have another look. I took my time climbing, crawling, and scouring sections that I thought might have rock art. And I did find some images that I missed on the first trip. I was super stoked to find some pictographs (paintings), they were extremely old and had suffered some vandalism. I also encountered a charcoal drawing that was rather bizarre. On the fence on that one but I have come across lots of charcoal drawings in my wanderings in the desert so I’m not ruling it out.
