Maillardet’s Automaton at the Franklin Institute

The drawing automaton from the Franklin INstitute in Philadelphia. If you liked the movie Hugo, this is the real thing. An 18th century clockwork antique (literally is wound up) recovered even from a fire and donated to the museum for restoration, it does six different drawings.
