High angle LS of three lorries driving alongside river, each carrying a model of a famous Dutch Liner - the ’Rotterdam’, the ’Statendam’ and the ’Nieuw-Amsterdam’. Various shots as the lorries pass by, with cut-ins of people watching. High angle MS of the exhibition buildings and surrounds. Interior MS showing contemporary type lighting, pan down to LS as Princess Beatrix comes into picture. MS as Princess Beatrix opens exhibition by setting off an hourglass, which will be placed at the entrance of the exhibition. Various shots of Princess Beatrix under umbrella, she walks to a 115 m high Euromast where she has a wonderful view of Rotterdam.
