Note-taking:
If we want to change a verb into an adjective:
(v.) ing = (adj.) to describe things
e.g. interest(v.) ing = interesting(adj.)
(v.) ed = (adj.) to describe people’s feeling
e.g. interest(v.) ed = interested(adj.)
Reminders:
1. -ing for things / -ed for feelings
2. different from present continuous tense (is/am/) / past tense (ed)
Rules for adding -ed
1. delete the last e (move ed - moved)
2. y - i (horrify ed - horrified)
