Evans EC1 Reverse Dot Snare Batter Head Test

This is a test of Evans’ EC1 Reverse Dot Snare Batter Head, played at a High, Medium and Low tuning. Tuning was measured using a drum dial, All recordings where done with the help of Jim Davis at The Ranch Production House in Nursling. Microphones used: SM57 (Batter Side), AKG C414 (Snare Side), Audio Technica 40-47 x2 (Room Mics) Pre Amps Used: AML EZ1073500, Sebatron VMP4000E No Compression was used on any of these recordings, with only a hint of EQ used in order to gain maximum validity of each sn
