It all depends on the person involved. Some see funny, some see creepy, but rarely did anyone see a sociopathic murderer before the debut of Batman’s greatest enemy: The Joker. Joker started as a lowly thug theorized to be called Jack Napier. Under the guise of the Red Hood, Jack attempted to help to other criminals out with a high paying job. Unfortunately for the crew the job would be busted open by the one and only Batman. An accident would occur as Batman fought off the thugs leading to Jack falling into a vat of highly toxic chemicals. These chemicals wouldn’t kill him however, he found himself later. Skin bleached white, teeth and hair stained green, and the insatiable need to… laugh. Between his pregnant wife, crappy job, and constant mistreatment from those around him: Jack had finally snapped. This was the one bad day that would drive him down a path of villainy. Originally meant for a one off appearance, the character proved too popular to kill off which quite frankly is a stigma that would follow him for the rest of his existence. So Joker would come back again and again. Eventually evolving from dangerous gangster, to merry time prankster, to the psychopathic narcissist we all know him as today. Joker is a great villain for how he represents the Ying to Batman’s Yang. Black vs White, happy vs angry, complete lunacy vs complete seriousness. All these traits would help define the Joker throughout all his past and future iterations. All of them wanting only a few things like money, power, notoriety, but above all else Joker has something to prove. That he isn’t a fluke, his existence is as easy to come across as having one bad day. He claims that’s all it takes for someone to snap, the one bad day that comes after so many others. The final straw, thats what drives a man like Joker to madness, that and a vat of chemicals. Through thick snd thin, Joker has attained and retained his spot as the most notorious villain in Gothams Rogues, even occasionally going outside his own lane and swerving into the likes of Superman and Wonder Woman, two godly beings he should have no business messing with yet this lunatic not only defies both parties, but has had both of them at his mercy several times. Not bad for a two bit crook turned homicidal clown. Not bad at all. Green Goblin Throughout Spider-Man’s lengthy history he has had to grapple with many powerful enemies. Doctor Octopus, Venom, the Rhino, even the Juggernaut! Though while all these enemies are very skilled and powerful none of them can measure up to the sheer manipulation and terror of Norman Osborn, better known as The Green Goblin. Norman was a scientist, one who made time for all his amazing projects but never for his own son: Harry Osborn, who happened to be the best friend of Peter Parker also known as Spider-Man. One of these projects involved creating super soldiers, sometimes this formula is even a derivative of the same serum that helped make Captain America the man he is. Unfortunately for Norman this particular serum of his was volatile and would eventually cause him to grow a second mind within himself. The mind had an eery high pitched voice, it would tell Norman to hurt people. Kill people. Norman is not a great man morally in his own right, but he isn’t a fighter. Until now, since with the new extra personality the serum also granted Osborn super strength that rivals even the wall crawler’s ridiculous blows. With his new power and technology Osborn as the Goblin would go out to get revenge on all those who had wronged Norman. They would all have paid if not for Spider-Man! Goblin is a menace both in costume and out, he can go blow for blow with a Spider-Man that’s not golding back and has the tech to even tangle with the likes of Captain America and Iron Man among many more heroes and villains when he’s the leader of SHIELD or HAMMER. Norman plays with a full deck, a deck full of Wildcards all labeled GG. If push comes to shove the Goblin will eliminate wh
