Denny Hulme - The Simplest of Things Can Take Away...

Denny Hulme died during the 1992 Tooheys 1000 from Bathurst. He suffered a heart attack at the wheel of his BMW M3, and was pronounced dead at Bathurst Hospital. Denny was one of my heroes, and it was heartbreaking to watch his life end, live on television in front of my eyes. I post this video to remind everyone, that even the simplest of things in a motor vehicle can be life threatening. Make sure your health is good. Make sure you are not tired. Make sure you are concentrating. Keep drugs and alcohol out of your system. Denny had reported on the radio that he wasn’t feeling well, but he pushed on - and we lost a champion. Be safe - on track, or on the road.
