ncRNAs - all types of non-coding RNA (lncRNA, tRNA, rRNA, snRNA, snoRNA, siRNA, miRNA, piRNA)

Hey Friends, non-coding RNAs, appear to be the little sister of the messenger RNA. But these ncRNAs possess a multitude of essential functions. Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNA) have been linked to disease, micro RNAs (miRNA) and short interfering RNAs (siRNA) can regulate transcription by gene silencing. Other non-coding RNA products such as transfer RNAs (tRNA) and ribosomal RNAs (rRNA) execute housekeeping functions in protein synthesis (translation).
