K9 Apprehends Fleeing Standoff Suspect - Caught On Camera

Officers responded to a domestic violence call int he 8200 block of Acapulco Place around 5:00 PM. Units arriving on scene attempted to make contact with a male suspect who promptly barricaded himself inside a home. Despite numerous requests to surrender the suspect refused to comply. Eventually the suspect attempted to flee by exiting the residence through a backyard and jumping over fences into the backyards of neighboring homes. Using a police helicopter officers located the man and confronted him near the front of another home. Again the man refused to comply and a police K9 was used to apprehend the him.
