Ryukyu Kobudo Tesshinkan Impressions

This video presents some impressions of the Ryukyu Kobudo Tesshinkan Kyokai. The clips have been shot at the summer camp of 2011 in Germany. The Tesshinkan community practices Ryukyu Kobudo taught by Tamayose Hidemi (9th Dan), who was a student of Akamine Eisuke. The curriculum includes 8 weapons: Bo, Tekko, Nunchaku, Sai, Tunfa, Tinbe and Rochin, Kama and Eku. The Tesshinkan Kyôkai also offers Karate (Shorin/ Kobayashi) as addition to those who only study Kobudo. A collection of impressions of its Karate shall be made during the next weeks. The demonstrators come from various countries like Japan, Germany, Russia and Belarus and also practise a broad spectrum of Karate styles like Shotokan, Kobayashi, Fudokan, Goju Ryu.
