Bargello Planter

In the fourth installment of Making Stuff with Mel, we’re going to be trying something called Bargello.  This retro-inspired project may look a bit overwhelming - but trust me - I have broken it down into bite sized pieces, and made it easy enough for everyone.   There are two different options for the finished project.  An orange ‘flame’ pattern, and a cool blue ‘wave’ pattern.  Both use the same stitches and pattern shapes - but the colors are what set them apart.  This project is perfect for the coming spring and summer months because you can complete a few stitches, set it down, and come back to it whenever you have free time. Once you finish the stitching you will have a perfect little planter, or if plants aren’t your thing, a stylish desk organizer.
