Sundew and Willow deserve all the happiness in the world ^_^ Those of you who have followed me for a while know that I actually started drawing this a while ago (I livestreamed the first part on Procreate!) I’ve really really wanted to draw Sunlow fanart since reading TPJ last fall, so starting the sketch and setup came naturally. But I actually kinda got SO intimidated by everything I needed to do in the picture - since I had this really ambitious vision for a forest background and all - that I was actually a bit scared to finish this. So I put it off for a while, but once I noticed the Wings of Fire: Poison Jungle anniversary coming around I was like “OK BIO. u are gonna SIT DOWN and just GRIND TILL THIS IS DONE BAYBEE.“ And actually I’m very happy that I did, because I think I’ve improved on backgrounds quite a bit since I drew a whole forest scene!
