Sen. Menendez Calls for Passage of Armenian Genocide Resolution / Turkey Sanctions

In powerful remarks on the U.S. Senate floor earlier today, Ranking Democrat for the Senate Foreign Relations Committee Robert Menendez (D-NJ) called for immediate passage of the Armenian Genocide Resolution () and sanctions against Turkey. For over 15 minutes, Sen. Menendez outlined Turkish President Erdogan’s repression against minorities at home and aggression abroad, most recently the attack against Kurds and other minorities in northern Syria.
