Slant Front Desk Building Process by Doucette and Wolfe Furniture Makers

This video shows the making of a custom Chippendale style Slant Front Desk. This desk is made of solid premium mahogany. The design for this desk is made with influences from some fine antique Chippendale desks made in Massachusetts in the 18th Century. This desk is made with hand-cut dovetail joinery throughout. The interior is designed to have a traditional look while having the functionality of modern times. The design is for use with a laptop computer, iPad, etc. All surfaces are hand planed. F
